Adult Formation

Our ministry aims to help the faithful to grow in both human and Christian maturity as they are enriched by the study of Sacred Scripture.  We embrace the faith dimensions of an adult life, for example, understanding and communicating the faith, skills for personal growth, experience of family life, relationships, public service, and concern for the common good.  Parish Clergy lead this ministry.

New Adult Education Bible Series

A new Adult Education Bible Series started Thursday, February 22nd, in Christian Formation Center building, Rm. 210. The class will run for only four weeks, and the theme of the study is “A Biblical Walk Through the Mass”. Please join Fr. Eddie to better understand the Mysteries, Meaning, and Riches of the Mass.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a program designed for adults who have not been able to complete their sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion & Confirmation), and for those who would like to become Roman Catholics.  The program, like all of our Roman Catholic teaching, is based on Sacred Scripture and the Traditions handed down to us by the early Church Fathers.  It is divided into four segments to permit the inquirer to ask questions, listen to the teachings of the Church, reflect on their decision to join the Church, and have time to familiarize themselves with the parish.

We invite all those who have not been able to complete their sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation), and those who would like to become Roman Catholics, to join us in the new program of preparation (2018-2019) beginning on September 20, 2018. The sessions are held on Thursdays at 6:30 PM in the Christian Formation Center and the program goes from September through the end of April 2019.

As Jesus has said, “come and you will see,” (Jn 1:39) the goodness of the Lord and taste the blessing of celebrating the faith in a community that has pledged its support to you in this wonderful journey.

Please, contact the Parish Office at (561) 483 2440 for more information.
