God’s mercy is from age to age to those who fear him

Adult Formation

Our ministry aims to help the faithful to grow in both human and Christian maturity as they are enriched by the study of Sacred Scripture.  We embrace the faith dimensions of an adult life, for example, understanding and communicating the faith, skills for personal growth, experience of family life, relationships, public service, and concern for the common good.  Parish Clergy lead this ministry.

The RCIA Rite is designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their heart. By God's help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time receive the sacraments fruitfully.

Women of Grace is a program designed to teach women how to emulate the Blessed Mother and learn more about their femininity. The next program will start in October 2019. For more information please scroll down below RCIA section.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a program designed for adults who have not been able to complete their sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion & Confirmation), and for those who would like to become Roman Catholics.  The program, like all of our Roman Catholic teaching, is based on Sacred Scripture and the Traditions handed down to us by the early Church Fathers.  It is divided into four segments to permit the inquirer to ask questions, listen to the teachings of the Church, reflect on their decision to join the Church, and have time to familiarize themselves with the parish.

We invite all those who have not been able to complete their sacraments of initiation and those who would like to become Roman Catholics to join us in the new program of preparation beginning on September 19, 2019. The sessions are held on Thursdays from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM in room 212 of the Christian Formation Center. In order to join the RCIA program please follow the registration process outlined below.

Registration process:

  • Print a registration form from this website or obtain one from the Parish Office;
  • Complete and submit the registration form to the Parish Office and request an interview with a Priest;
  • If you have been baptized bring a copy of your Baptismal Certificate with you to the interview;
  • Join the program when it starts on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

As Jesus has said, “come and you will see,” (Jn 1:39) the goodness of the Lord, and taste the blessing of celebrating the faith in a community that has pledged its support to you on this wonderful journey.
