Baptisms are held on specific Saturdays of each month. Parents and godparents are expected to attend an educational class prior to the actual date of the baptism. The sessions are presented in the Christian Formation Center throughout each month. Registration for classes is a requirement and is done through the Parish Office.

In accordance with the Diocesan policy, Sacramental Preparation for Reconciliation and Eucharist requires two years of Religious Education. Children will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist in the second year of their preparation. Children must be pre-registered in the program with a copy of their Baptismal Certificate. Parents are required to attend one or more meetings before their child is able to participate in this Sacrament. Parents must be registered and active parishioners. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the Religious Education Office.
In accordance with the Diocesan policy, Confirmation preparation is a two-year consecutive process. A beginning candidate must be at least an 8th grade student who has received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist, and the family must be registered members of the parish who are practicing their faith. Candidates are required to attend Spiritual Days and complete a Service Project, saint essay and other assignments prior to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Candidates must be pre-registered in religious education with a copy of their Baptismal Certificate. Parents are required to attend two meetings before their child is able to receive this Sacrament. Confirmation classes are available for anyone over the age of 18 who have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the Religious Education Office.
These are sessions that have been developed solely for those children above the age of reason (7 years of age) that express a desire to be initiated into the Catholic Church; or for those children that have been baptized, but have not yet received instruction for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation. The Religious Education Office will work individually with each family to assure the children are properly prepared to receive the Sacraments.
