Adult Formation

Our ministry aims to help the faithful to grow in both human and Christian maturity as they are enriched by the study of Sacred Scripture.  We embrace the faith dimensions of an adult life, for example, understanding and communicating the faith, skills for personal growth, experience of family life, relationships, public service, and concern for the common good.  Parish Clergy lead this ministry.

Our Current Adult Education Bible Series is:

There are eleven, 50 minute DVD sessions.

The opening line from the Book of Saint James can stop some people cold: “Count it all joy when you meet various trials....”
And yet this Book has been called the most Catholic of all the books of the Bible.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a program designed for adults who have not been able to complete their sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion & Confirmation), and for those who would like to become Roman Catholics.  The program, like all of our Roman Catholic teaching, is based on Sacred Scripture and the Traditions handed down to us by the early Church Fathers.  It is divided into four segments to permit the inquirer to ask questions, listen to the teachings of the Church, reflect on their decision to join the Church, and have time to familiarize themselves with the parish.

The 2017-2018 RCIA program started on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the Christian Formation Center, Room 212, and will continue until Easter 2018. The weekly sessions start promptly at 6:30PM and end at 8:30PM.
